We are looking for an individual who is passionate about a career in sales. This position is focused on new business
development and will be responsible for representing our products and solutions to potential clients. While working
in a fast-paced / entrepreneurial environment, you will be challenged with proactively searching for leads and
generating sales to help continue to develop this fast-growing business unit. This is a team oriented group that
promotes innovative thought and idea sharing.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Thomson Reuters sales teams to define business development and sales strategy
- Strategically assess partner landscape and implement tactical account plans to drive the market growth and to
achieve annual targets
- Prospect to senior trade compliance executives in corporations
- Organize and drive client meetings striving to challenge current thinking in order to deliver unique propositions.
- Orchestrate meetings that will involve demonstrating sophisticated software solutions
- Discuss the use of products, emphasizing product features based on analyses of customer needs and on technical
knowledge of product capabilities
- Initiate sales campaigns in order to meet sales expectations
- Develop and leverage channel partnerships to identify new opportunities. Jointly pursue new opportunities with the
channel partners
- Maintain a working knowledge of company products, special sales programs and marketing efforts within the sales team
- Manage the full sales cycle from cold calling prospects to closing and negotiating contracts
- Utilize Salesforce.com and other tools to develop and manage leads
- Work with marketing professionals to help develop appropriate marketing plans and collateral to support the overall
business development efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
- 5- 8 years of enterprise software sales (quota carrying) with a proven track record of revenue growth and experience
generating leads
- Relevant and demonstrable previous sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably dealing with large multinational
company or large accounting firms
- Detailed understanding of a solution sales process
- Ability and willingness to generate own leads, with strong experience in cold calling / prospecting background
- Experience in working with channel partners
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills- Fluency in spoken and written English required
- Self motivated and strong personal drive and energy to exceed expectations
- Must be able quickly learn technical content in nature and be able to explain and communicate value proposition effectively
- Previous experience with GTM solutions or trade compliance processes is an advantage
- Position will require up to 50% travel
